Greg Thomsen
Greg Thomsen is an experienced maintenance leader with more than 15 years of experience at MacKellar, having progressed through a range of technical, operational and management roles across the business.
Greg joined MacKellar in 2009 as an Auto Electrician and has since progressed through supervisory, planning, project management and workshop management roles. This broad career progression has given him a 360-degree view of MacKellar’s maintenance operations and a strong understanding of the technical and operational requirements of maintaining a large mobile equipment fleet. Greg was appointed General Manager of Maintenance in 2025.
Greg brings a hands-on and practical approach to maintenance leadership, with experience across the technical, planning and operational aspects of fleet maintenance. His career progression has provided him with a broad understanding of the people, processes and equipment that underpin effective maintenance operations.
As General Manager, Maintenance, Greg is focused on leading high-performing teams, optimising fleet performance and supporting safe, reliable and efficient operations while upholding MacKellar’s reputation for quality and service.
