MacKellar Group is proud to be collaborating with Aeris Resources Limited on the Murrawombie Open Pit Cut-Back project at Tritton Operations, located near Nyngan, New South Wales.
This project represents a significant step forward in copper production, a critical resource for renewable energy systems and electrification, and an important contributor to a more sustainable future.
Under a 14-month contract, MacKellar will deliver key services to support the expansion of the Murrawombie Mine, including:
• Open pit cut-back development
• Construction of the final landform for the Heap Leach Facility (HLF)
To support the delivery of the works, MacKellar has mobilised a dedicated fleet of heavy mining equipment, including excavators, haul trucks and supporting machinery. Our experienced on-site team — comprising operators, maintenance tradespeople and management personnel — is focused on delivering the project safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
MacKellar’s integrated approach, combining equipment, people and operational expertise, is central to ensuring consistent performance across complex mine development projects.
MacKellar Group thanks Aeris Resources for their trust and partnership. We’re proud to support the continued development of Tritton Operations and to play our part in responsibly delivering the copper resources that underpin the global energy transition.
